Alexandra Bridals – Dallas Wedding Photography

Alex and Kevan just wrapped up their beautiful wedding this Saturday which means… I can now post the bridal photography!

     

     

Alex had her dallas wedding photography bridal shoot at the Nasher Sculpture Garden. The location was gorgeous, and so was Alex. We started out inside and then worked our way to the exterior. The steps / stairs added a great linear look to the photography.

     

Alex’s family made sure we took some photos with the bamboo! It’s not a common plant here in Dallas, and it sure is pretty. I used this patch here, and set up a strobe / flash back behind her. I added an orange gel and positioned myself to create a “flare”. The result looks like it could be the sun behind her, especially in the second shot :)

     

     

This was a great shoot and we had a lot of fun. Wedding photos coming soon.

CBS study on interracial couples and marriages. Photography

CBS 11 DFW (Dallas) did a study and bit on interracial marriages. Reporter Carol Cavazos found some of my wedding photography online, specifically of some interracial couples, the story went from there:

Joanna and Jeremy were a great couple to photograph, and they were happy to do the interview. Tom Nelson, the pastor at Denton Bible church was also interviewed. I went there for a while in College. Fort Worth Wedding Photography | Katie and Michael

Katie and Michael had their wedding at the Bell Tower Chapel in Fort Worth, near Dallas, Texas. The stain glass windows always provide for pretty photography.

The wedding was right at the end of that year. Which means Christmas! Look for some of the holiday decor. They dig a beautiful job with the details.

Katie and her dad had a neat … not sure if  ’choreographed’ is the right word… father daughter dance. It was wild.

And the best part of the bell tower chapel… the bell ringing! Katie put some muscle into it. :)

Just Married. We then followed the newly weds to a parking garage for a couple more photos. Here’s a neat shot that Chelsea took while on our way. I promise I wasn’t photographing and driving at the same time.

It was a great wedding and I was happy to be a part of their special day.

Devin and Kayla l Austin Wedding Photography

Devin and Kayla had their wedding at the One World Theatre in Austin, Texas which made for wonderful wedding photography. Kayla started by getting her make-up and hair done at the Jose Luis Salon in Austin.

Ceremony Shoes, followed by converse allstar reception shoes.

  

  

Devin and Kayla chose to see each other before the wedding. I had them meet and hold hands between a door before they revealed themselves to each other. It was a very cute moment and even emotional for them.

  

Kayla loved these wooden doors so we made sure to get a photo of everyone in front of them.

     

The sun set during their ceremony, which was really pretty.

  

Thanks to Kayla and Devin for letting me photograph their wedding. Also to Chelsea my second photographer and to Jason my brother for the referral.
